There will, of course, be a lot of interesting things, but you won't hear everything, because two concerts or operas will be held in different theaters and halls in one evening.
Letter from Boris Lyatoshynsky to Margarita Tsarevich, 29 September 1957, Berlin
Liatoshynsky foundation — is a public organization created with the aim of making Ukrainian classical music of the XX–XXI centuries recognizable in the world.
We are named after Borys Lyatoshynskyi, one of the most influential composers in the history of Ukrainian music, a teacher, innovator, and one of the founders of the modern Ukrainian compositional school.
We know that Ukrainian academic music sounds loud and proud, on a par with other European and world cultures.
